Hi Scott - Feel your pain. I'm an RDU native who splits time between NYC and Raleigh. Sent you a DM. I operate a boutique creative offline/high-end finishing company and work largely in FCPX/Resolve, though versed in the Avid MC, Premiere, 7 etc. If you need a hired gun or just want to grab lunch and talk FCPX/post give me a shout sometime!

Related to the murmurings/wishes that the next FCPX could include new collaboration tools... Abode just announced a "Team Projects" functionality, but without details on price or availability.

...multiple team members simultaneously access projects, with version control and edit histories in the media browser. Each user works on a local version that gets synced with others on demand, with several conflict-resolution options.
