When the new version is released I'll have to make sure that I have time to play and risk my next first project(2nd stage of high). After discovering, trying out and executing the new features it quickly becomes work.(3rd stage of high, things are wearing off.)
So, since I can work on FCPX at the moment (and I still love it), the wait and anticipation of what Apple has up their sleeve is the best part. :woohoo:

Wasn't that next week?
So I'm assuming something is up next week

That might indicate something happening on the 27th. That could be new MacBookPro and/or MacPro. Perhaps X drops in tandem. Of course there may be no tactical reason to tie FCPX to a hardware release so it could happen earlier.
My own guess would be somewhere between 4 and 13 days with Tuesday - Thursdays being the most likely days. FWIW I think Apple will only have visible marketing around MacBookPros though. FCPX and/or the MacPro will just kind of be tossed out there (which would disappoint me).
FCPX Creative Summit starts in Cupertino on the 27th so that may be the date since it would result in some built in marketing for FCXP and/or MacPro since those will be the most motivated people in the market. That might also explain the earning call change which was scheduled on the 27th.

Looks like we'll be getting new Macs (Mac Pro perhaps?). As said above, I think it's likely we'll see a FCP X update around this time.

Someone relating a rumor is not confirmation of anything but a rumor. It is "confirmed" if Apple makes an official announcement.

… there isn't even a invitation of the press for 27th released, so nothing 'confirmed'.
Those rumours are around for … half a year, more than…?
Now re/code hops on that clickbait train…
Usually press invitations are a week ahead, so tomorrow is earliest for confirming when there's some presentation..
And what is confirmed on that date …
