and I like the idea of a morph transition, and being able to roll trim r adjacent connected clips that are not in a secondary storyline, as well as removing attributes, and consolidating motion projects.

But no physics, no 3D-files import, … and no read-out of source TC?? bohooooo ....

Really liking what I'm seeing for Audio Roles
Color Coding
Audio Lanes and being able to rearrange Lanes and assigning roles per audio clip.
Applying effects per Lane Yes!
3 default Roles; Dialogue, Effects, Music, but you can create Custom Subroles. YES!
Don't forget to backup and create a Clone and ZIP archive 10.2.3 before updating, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, no crying due to bugs

Chris Hocking advice is
"I would highly recommend NOT using it with 10.3 yet."

Or at least imply it? (As far as I know and have tested, the CinemaDNG files still aren't...just ProRes obviously, even though it says CinemaDNG)

And we talked about it only a few days ago: www.fcp.co/forum/4-final-cut-pro-x-fcpx/...0-cinemadng-question
As technology evolves, there's not much incentive anymore to record footage in an image sequence format. That's why all modern BMD cameras can record 12-bit ProRes now, and I don't think BMD will put any effort into working on a plugin to support their old CinemaDNG anymore.
OTOH image sequences still remain useful for high-end VFX work (because this make it easier to just replace one or more frames in a very computing-intensive comp without having to recompute the entire comp), and FCP X supports exporting to any kind of image sequence for this purpose.

regarding TC MAYBE as a workaround for our soccer templates.
1) change the time of the clips with www.technikkram.net/2016/10/aufnahmedatu...ideos-am-mac-aendern
2) set the first one to 00:00 record time
3) then hope that in FCPX the font and layout can be adjusted to xx:yy
4) build "something" around that with motion (boxes etc)
5) okay for second half should be something like..xx+45
