When it comes to hardware I am hoping they drop some computers with a Polaris based GPU that makes the AMD 480x fully supported. Because if they do I buying a pair of 8GB cards for the edit machine. If FCPX gets role based mixing I'll see about updating my hardware interface again.

As my mom would say... "The Apple Online Store has nothing do do with the Mac App Store or Final Cut Pro X. Obviously the Apple Online Store is down because of the Apple event scheduled for today that is widely reported to be focusing on the release of new Mac hardware. This does not necessarily have any impact on the release of a Final Cut pro X update."

Hats off to Microsoft. The Surface Studio looks very nice and the Dial blew me away when they put it on the screen. Pretty sweet - for a Microsoft device anyway.

I agree. Microsofts really going after the creative pro market that Apple used to dominate before realising phones were more profitable. It'll be interesting to see this evenings events to see which way Apples going....will we get *gasp* a dedicated GPU?

Seriously though, they did show FCPX being used by someone with a disability! which is very cool.

Yeah that is cool. I'd love to be able to include my high school friend on minor projects. He's quadriplegic after an accident but wants to still edit.

Wow. I'm more excited about the idea of working with that new paradigm than I've been excited with mac stuff in quite a while. Loving the new interface too - want to know whats new! :cheer:
