I don't think so with the App Store shutdown from the 21st to the 27th of December. Might be difficult to get FCPX 10.1 during that time.
Oh then the 31st...

Maybe we are approaching this the wrong way. How about we start using reverse psychology on this forum. "Ya know, I'm getting pretty bored waiting around for this. That Adobe and Avid stuff looks pretty interesting now. I might even give Sony Vegas a shot!"

OK, that hurt just typing that. At least with Christmas you know it's the 25th of December, for the people on this forum, we have the hope that some magical Tuesday will bring what we asked for.

So, my seven year old self is hoping for tomorrow.

I see the three of us have notifications turned on for Safari. Now where's FCPX 10.1?

The mail that I received from Apple says that this update is only for macbook pros with retina display! Is that true? What about previous models, and what about iMac?

Given that the store supposedly only received three it sounds like while we may have it appear in the stores physical and online tomorrow, it'll be in a "pre-order" situation with a "ship by…" being longer than some of us would like.

From the MR Thread :(

This appears to be fake. The picture looks very much like the pictures from the Apple event in October:

The thing that makes no sense is the GPU upgrade from D500s to D700s.

There's doing some reverse-engineering here, so I think there's a margin for error.

Well if those prices are right then looks like I'll be getting a six core with upgraded graphics and 32GB of RAM.
Do any 3rd parties sell compatible RAM for these yet?

On paper there already is compatible ECC RAM available. OWC will test them out and repackage it as 'apple tested' or whatnot. They are already teasing this on their website. For me it comes down to how much different the price is. The 'Apple Premium' on memory is getting much smaller.

Don't you live in Oz where it's tomorrow already? Is there good news from the future?
