I don't know exactly. Supposedly it mostly effects performance on the new Mac Pros. Several people including Ben have mentioned it and also some developers apparently.

I'm noticing that Waveforms don't seem to draw out properly. however, once you zoom in on the clip it seems to be accurate, so that's good.
I've included a screen shot.
All the audio after the play head, is actually the same level as what precedes it. Very very odd.
The second screen shot is zoomed in on the same area.

I'm getting LOTS of spinning lollipops on my late 2013 MP with dual D700 GPUs.
Logic Pro X on my Mac Pro is missing tabs in the Audio Editor, and some other screen elements, but not on my rMBP.
auevaltool crashes with most third party audio plugins in any app that uses them (FCPX, LPX).
Specific generators make Motion crash on my MP when I add them to a Project.
Never seen the audio scrub issue, so I can't comment on it.

No difference with the ghost audio. I think it's an FCP X thing and not an OS thing. Hope they fix it soon. It only happens in the first 3 seconds of a sequence for me so I just drop a gap clip in front, do the edit and then delete the gap. After you get in about three seconds it doesn't happen.

We did spoke about El Capitan and FCPX. At this stage the problem are in FCPX and not the OS. Apple has addressed this (why not the public??) and a update should be rolled out soon.
We will see right?

Haw about Neat Video v.4?
I didn't see it mentioned in the write up at www.finalcutprox.guru (linked earlier in this thread).
On page 3 of this thread Makki says, "...only slow down comes with Neat and Slice EX. They apply instantly but a litlle stuttering unrendered. But it has always been so..."
I'll take that to mean that Neat works, but since it's the last plugin to check off my El Capitan list, I figured I'd ask, just to be safe.
