Well around what time does apple release software or hardware?

I can tell you this much is true:

1- Trainers are never told anything, period. Once you're certified, you're on your own, with very, very LITTLE contact from Apple, except when re-certifications for major upgrade versions are required. We learn about updates just the same as end users. We never know anything in advance, ever.

2- Beta testers are never told the release date, and don't know until they see it in the App Store. No one outside of the specific dev team ever knows anything about release dates in advance.

And do not forget Apple has a Best Practices doc up for upgrading. I strongly suggest folks to NOT upgrade right away, until you understand what the caveats are, what bugs are there, what plugins will get killed right away. All things that will be fixed quickly, but, unless you want to deal with the initial bugs all new releases of an app have, hold off.

I've got a feeling that today could be the day!

I do hope you're using Pixelmator and not Photoshop for those graphics. I wouldn't want Adobe to have any influence.
