Does what it says on the tin and they come thick and fast. Video (flash only I'm affraid) after the break.

Noise Industries have announced the release of free plugin Manifesto 1.0, which comes in two variants: a static title generator and a title roll/crawl generator, and it's infinitely more powerful than the native title generator in FCP. FX Factory has also had an update. More after the break.

infinite_skills_fcp_tutorial_ipad_iphone

An FCP tutorial with over 60 in-depth and easy to follow videos, more than 3 hours long, that you can view on your iPhone or iPad sounds like something that needs investigating.

Digital Rebellion have come out with a super cool iPad app. Can't wait to try this one out with FCP!

Those helpful people at Amsys training have come up with an iphone App that helps test your knowledge of FCP.

fcp_vs_premier

There has been a lot of talk recently from people abandoning FCP to use Adobe's Premiere for the native DSLR H264 file handling. Paul Joy has done some rather revealing side by side comparisons.

final_cut_server_ipad_cliptouch

Take a look at ClipTouch, a Final Cut Server client for the iPad, developed to enable the use of iPads as review tools instead of having to maintain costly review workstations. At just $14.99 it's well worth the purchase. More after the break.

render_notify

Ever wanted to know when an FCP render has finished? Well now you can. And by the time you get back from getting that all important coffee you should have a message waiting.

“Render Notification 1.0.2” by Josh Petok from the current cut. It is a nice little script that watches the processor usage of a few pre-selected apps and will email you when the load goes down. In other words it alerts you to your render finishing. To find out more about it go here. There's also a useful suicide script for killing off a hung After Effects at the same link.

Those very informative people at NewMediaWebinars present a VFX Plug-in Essentials Webinar looking specifically at the plug-ins and filters offered within Noise Industries' FX Factory.

apple_downloads

Today is a very sad day for a lot of small developers as they can't submit their applications or plugins to the new Mac App Store as they don't meet the requirements.
