FCPX Crashing a large project

Yes that is OK. The size might be due to analysis files or some small fragment of your media. If any media is in the library I will treat it confidentially. I have optical fiber so a 3GB download is trivial.
After uploading the ZIP'd library, can you upload a .txt file to this location which has the download link? It is write-only so nobody else can see it: www.transferbigfiles.com/dropbox/joema

...I have deleted the render files. The library is 6.2GB. I'm too nervous to start deleting contents of folders within the package contents so I just zipped the library which is now 3GB. Can I send you a link to access it?

Hi Everyone! Sorry to post here on an old thread, but I thought it may update the people who were this original thread. I literally created an account just because of this thread and because I'm having a similar problem. In the middle of a 40+ minute project fcp crashed on me and I kept trying to open that library but it wouldn't. So i tried opening up other libraries and there was no issue--only when I tried to open up this one library (which is called "bug").
So then I did some research and I realized my project file size was 72GB. So I opened up a different library and project, and was able to then open the "bug" library and from here was able to delete the rendered files and change my preference to (no background rendering). BUT, all my files were unlinked because in a state of panic I changed the name of the files on my external hard drive (seagate) and the files all got unlinked, which, no problem, but now when I get the library open, the same way I had to before--because if I try to open it regularly then it tires to open the project and the whole thing crashes again--and I try to relink the files, then it still crashes. I literally have no clue what I'm doing here and really can't figure out what the issue is. I've tried all the things mentioned in this thread but I can't even get access to the project to try most of what's been suggested. Attached in a text/edit file with the most recent crash I got when trying to relink files.
Thanks so much for any help. On a really tight deadline and I feel like I'm about to really beef it hard in front of an employer.
let me know if this attachment even goes through, again i have no clue how to use this thread so I'm happy to do whatever I have to do to help you all help me.

Both of your crash report files suggest that the Project is corrupt.
A good place to start is to restart your computer in "safe mode":
support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/mac-help/mh21245/12.0/mac/12.0
Log into your account and then restart normally.
You should probably try to rename everything the way it was before you started changing things when the crash first occurred. Make sure everything is where it was located (same drive/folder), as well...
Briefly, you might try accessing a backup of your Library. If that doesn't work, you could also try loading another Library and then open the troublesome one, but don't open the project that crashed. Select/choose the Project in the Browser and export an XML file. Try importing that into a new Library.
I'd suggest carefully reviewing the last couple of posts in this discussion:
FCPX keeps crashing when opening my project file
Digital Rebellion makes some nice FCP-related tools. One is called "Project Repair". This may or may not be helpful if the above all fail to help.
P.S. - You might want to create a new topic and put your message there. After doing so, you could edit the post in this thread and select all, then delete. Your post will be removed. You could then reference the old topic in your new one. This will make it easier for others who read either topic later to follow along. Thanks.
P.P.S. - If you can open the "bug" Library, you might try selecting the problem Project in the Browser (dont' try to open it), then choose "Clip -> Verify and Repair Project" (you have to hold the Option key when selecting the Clip menu).
