Just opened an old project. All of the MBL scenes that have been rendered seem fine, but if I try to edit them I get the upside down frame. Very weird.
Damn, I have become so dependent on MBL! I had a nice preset worked out for a new video. Hopefully this will get resolved soon (and by that I mean hopefully Red Giant and Apple will actually talk to each other instead of just pointing fingers)!

Seems a more lot responsive and better playback than 10.0.3 with the Decklink Studio.

I opened a large project with 5700+ items in the event and about 20 projects from 52-minutes to 30-second teaser off the same event.
I was a bit gutted about this update and hopes/expectations, but that just made it all a better update then 10.0.3 for me. I just loaded up 8 events and about 50 projects referencing the events. There's about 30 hrs of 1920x1080 footage in the events and the projects are between 30 seconds and 30 minutes long.
First impressions are that everything is running sweet and finders are crossed.

Its entirely possible that I was doing something wrong.
In any event I'm excited about this.

How are you exporting directly from the Browser?

I'm so glad that clip skimming now show the timecode for the clip you're on now! But, I feel like with every update, something is fixed and then another thing that worked is broken.
ah, the growing pains.

And didn't skimming display the timecode from day one? Pretty much how FCP/FCPX has worked from day one wherever you place the playhead there will be a numerical display as to where it is?

And I meant the clip timecode, not the project timecode. I don't remember in 10.0.0, but I know int .1 and .2, if you had the range tool on, and were skimming over a clip in the timeline, it would display that clip's timecode, not of the project. It was something that was broken in .3, and fixed in .4, making the clip skimmer very helpful.

When I tried exporting before, I attempted to do it in a FCP legacy way - I highlighted the compound clip in the event browser and then tried to right click. Didn't think to open the timeline and try exporting that way.
That is, of course, what I happened upon today. Did a command - E and voila, the export dialog box popped up. Good times ensued.
