FCPX slow/hanging up after 10.66 update

If you use Time Machine, you could try to resurrect older versions of the Libraries, as well as FCP itself. Sorry, but I have no clue about using Libraries with older versions of FCP. I don't even know if 10.6.6 required a Library update, per se. If it asked or mentioned, then I guess the answer is "yes". I wonder if a Backed-up version of your Library is recent enough to be usable but hasn't be "touched" by 10.6.6 somehow (don't know if "FCP Backups" are also update/touched when moving to a new FCP version).

You might consider using the feedback menu item to submit a report directly to Apple.

Yes, it did. The last version went from 6.3 to 6.5, but 6.6 updated libraries.

Correct, it HAD to update because new features were added. Can't have people trying to open those libraries on older FCPs.
