Oh, yeah, I missed the significance of "2018" when you mentioned the MBP (no Apple Silicon Macs then)... This is baffling. I think I'm at a loss to think of something else as a possible cause for the differences we're seeing... |

I had a lot of issues with files imported directly into FCP and rewrapped (by FCP) as .mov.
People that don't have FCP installed seem not even be able to view them in the finder or anything... So I stopped importing them with/into FCP and keep them external now... |
