FCP7 Library to FCPX

Does anyone know a person or company who can convert an FCP7 library file to FCPX. I need to revisit a project from a decade ago. Many thanks for any help.

You might want to try "7toX for Final Cut Pro". It can translate the XML output from a legacy FCP7 project or sequences to a FCP10 compatible XML file:

If you don't have access to XML files from the old project, you'd have to find a copy of FCP 7.0.3 (ideally) and create one or more XML exports, then use 7toX.

There are at least a few people here who could provide more of a full service conversion, if that's what you need...

I can also do these, fwiw. Got FCS 2 on a 2010 cheesegrater for just such an emergency.

For future searchers, the file attached above is a FCPX Event file from v10.1 and can only be converted with FCPX 10.2 (and maybe .3?).

OP was able to find a .fcp backup file that I was able to convert successfully.
