Lightroom type controls in FCPX?

If you've become accustomed to the many controls and effects in LR or PS, it is natural to want those in a video editor. Some such as contrast, curves, white balance color picker, etc. are available via 3rd party plugins such Color Finale.
However LR and PS do those on *stills*, and even then they are sometimes slow for certain effects. For example the PS "shake reduction" sharpening filter (while impressive) is very slow. Imagine running that on 4k video, which is 30 eight megapixel stills per *second*. It's probably not practical for video at the current technology level.
From a UI standpoint the controls all look very simple: often just a slider. However the underlying technology can be very complex. It took Adobe years to develop the math and image processing technology behind the shake reduction sharpening filter: prodesigntools.com/photoshop-image-deblu...ases-new-photos.html
Likewise with other sophisticated PS effects such as content-aware fill. It would be great if something that good existed for video but it doesn't, AFAIK.
Although your current interest is FCPX (which is video) if you were looking at Pixelmator or any other still editing software, those specialized LR or PS controls would not be there either -- even though it's easier to implement them for stills than video.
It's actually amazing that we have this many available video effects. It's just a matter of learning which built-in and 3rd party plugins are available, what they cost and how well they work. In some cases very powerful effects which were formerly only available for stills now exist for video. E.g, Imagenomic Portraiture, probably the best skin processing plugin for stills is available for video. It is probably very slow but it does an incredible job on stills: www.imagenomic.com/VideoPluginSuite.aspx

Same story here, offered my help… (localisation, for example?)
Got a reply from coremelt ,"Hey thanks for the interest, we'll get back to you next week with details."
… … … … That was on 5th May
… ok, I was probably not dressed casual enough to enter that exclusive club
