Same here, 1080p (PsF) over 50i, fullscreen playback with Safe Area on.
No Safe Area visible but a white dot instead.

Mid 2009 17" MBP, Yosemite, FCPX 10.1.3

Ronny and all.

FYI.

I just tested this and I DO get the white dot dead center of my picture when in full screen mode with title safe activated. And like you, if I turn off TS, the spot goes away. With TS activated and in full screen, I don't see the TS boundary, but can't remember if I ever could. Since working in HD 16:9, haven't worried to much about TS anymore.

I does not appear to show in the viewer with or with out TS, just in full screen.

I'm on a Mac Pro mid 2010 5.1 OS 10.9.5 I am not PAL, just a good aquantence

Interesting. Usually when I SHIFT + COMMAND + F I do get the dot and do NOT get the title safe. However if I zoom in (COMMAND +) and then zoom back out (COMMAND -) then the title safe is there and the dot is gone. So it seems that you either get the title safe OR the dot.

Great find, Joe. This works for me as well.

Anyone who has this bug, please use the feedback form to report it. It's not critical, but it should not happen.
