Export 4 Ch Audio to MXF

Nope I find this interesting. I see what you mean and now I understand why the extra importing bothers you. For fast turnaround editing it would indeed be much better if FCPX would work with native MXF, I agree.

FCPX is really excellent for sports and news, we have used it at the Olympic Games with great satisfaction. Fortunately we didn't have to deal with MXF there but it is a fact that a lot of news is being shot in some kind of MXF wrapped format, and importing or relinking of media must be done as fast as possible. You have made a good point here. Keep sending those feature requests.
