I have to say I've not been a fan of CoreMelt but this plugin is simply amazing, even WITHOUT tracking.

There's so much stuff on the market sold as plugins when really they are just Motion Recipes, this however is the real deal.

I think in order to learn "modern" English one must watch a group of Tweeners Texting. One may come to understand there's not a word or phrase in the language that can't be expressed in 4 characters or less.

CoreMelt might be CMe but that can mean something else. CMlt maybe?

I don't FB because...well don't get me started :evil:
I wish there were another way to get on the beta test. Guess ill see if T(witter) is an option as well.
As well, I wish it were possible to post to blog stories on this site without FB.

For me F***book is a neccessary evil. :evil:

I can not bring myself to write F***book so I use FB.

Which for me is like saying F**k F***book if you get what I mean.

But thanks for the tip I guess that I have to like the CoreMelt page now etc. :whistle:

Would love to try the Coremelt SliceX but I, like many others, have gotten rid of FaceBook (FB & all its incarnations).

Why not post it here for us to try... ?

We'll write nice reviews if it's good, which I'll also post on Twitter (better than Facebook)

I have played with it (SliceX with Mocha tracking) now quite awhile and I think this a one thing to sell FCP X. There is yet no other NLE that does anything similar right on the timeline.

Just a quick note - Facebook is dropping like a stone. No wonder Zuckerberg just cashed out. Check this article on FB losing millions of followers in the largest markets.

I too wish we could post on the main page without using the big brother blue box.
The day this site incorporates that system for all posts... is the day I leave.

Until then, let's all enjoy ourselves.

Yes I agree it sucks. I´ve tested it as a user and it seems to be to be more about promoting fcp.co on FB than allowing me to manage who owns my thoughts or ideas!

I am still there (FB) and the amount of adverts and stupid little tricks that they have is sky rocketing.

It is like you have to really think before you click!

I´ve said it before and I will say it again FB will go the same way as My Space.

Here is to the demise of FB. The following turned up in the Apple App Store but looks very FB like to me. Like seriously where is all this going to end... :sick:

Smoke 2013 does it. However it costs 10x the amount of FCP X (a three year Edumacation License is free though).

For those working with the Beta, I'm curious how it plays with other plugins or build in FCPX features. It seems the video demo shows mostly in built features of the plugin.

For example: how well does it work with the Color Board for tracking a matte?
How well does it track when masking part of a clip (in story line, connected, compound clip) for an applied effect?

My update is that nobody sent me an email from Slice X, so it appears they're forcing people to either join Facebook or go away.

Charming.

Interestingly, all the other companies I've bought plugins from, have free email signups with regular updates, offers, new releases, etc.

Seems like that's a proven model for business success... while building brand loyalty.
