My iPad is now working with the MacPro. Time to try this puppy out!

I'm glad you're up and running!
However, I haven't yet changed anything with regards to the networking, so that's a bit of a quandry....

Being playing with it and so far I'm impressed. It's a little clunky at times and until you're completely fluid with it, mistakes can result in a messed up timeline.
I use my Viewer and Timeline on my second monitor and my Events on the main monitor underneath the menu bar. Unfortunately in this configuration the colour controls will not work.
The program wants the colour palette to be on the main display it seems.
I've tested this theory by reverting to the default layout and it works perfectly that way.

A deal-breaker it isn't, because you're the 3rd person to notice this and I currently have a beta version being tested that should solve it

P.S. What do you find clunky?

And it is still effecting my mouse sensitivity in other apps. Makes the tracking speed jumpy and inconsistent.

The others not so much as I find having the left hand lurched over JKL IO is just fine. I do like the scrubbing. Where I fin its clunky is sometimes it takes me out of the timeline, then when I jump back in the gestures might do something a little weird.
Example. One time it lifted a clip up and moved it along the top of the timeline. I couldn't undo it until I had forced it to "let go" of the clip by hitting escape.

I've just posted a new version with a couple of bug fixes and links to the new 'Getting Started' videos. Here's the FCP one:

We felt that such a table would be unwieldy and scary. Between the taps, swipes, tap-swipes, pans and tap-tap-holds - each for one to five fingers - it would also be hard to present clearly. If there's enough demand then we'll look into it.
So far only one person has asked for it

BTW. What kind of Mac and OS are you on?

I'm tearing my hair out with the iPad not seeing the Mac problem.
During development I've seen it happen twice. In one case (with the other developer of The Touch) the iPad couldn't see the Mac using any application. Eventually a reboot of the router fixed the problem and we haven't seen it since.
In the other case none of the computers in the house could see each other. It turned out that the router needed a firmware upgrade to be Mac compatible!
So, the first thing to check is if the iPad and the Mac see each other - if you have any other apps that talk to the Mac that's a good test. If they can't then the problem is definitely network based.
In the case of Seanus it just started working spontaneously. I can't explain it.
At this point all I can suggest is to restart everything and see if that sorts things out.
