One man's nitpick is another man's necessity. I noticed it within the first few minutes of using the app in June of last year, and I thought this is great. I noticed it within the first few minutes of using the new version, and my immediate reaction was wtf. I still haven't gotten over it. Until there's a preference I guess I'll try to get used to the two handed approach to selecting a clip.

Just a quick note on this. The upper most clip behavior appearing in the inspector only works for clips like titles by switching off in roles. It does NOT work by switching off a clip by disabling, using the V key. Why this is I don't know. It just seems wrong to me that only roles has this capability. It means what should be relatively simple becomes a much more complex operation in some instances.

I was having trouble yesterday not being able to option select a multi-cam clip in the timeline and have it's properties reflect in the inspector. even restarting my system wouldn't allow the clips inspector to reflect my cc. but today, after re opening the project, I am able to change the clips cc. I am wondering if it was just the render not updating or something. yesterday I was blaming the new "hold option to select clip and see it in the viewer"... or was the cc happening to the other clip in the multi-cam clip...

I just noticed that with 'caps lock' on the playhead will not move when clicking on any clip.

Yes, just like how it works with caps lock off, too. But I do notice it overrides when clicking outside of a clip, the playhead won't jump, either.
