This transition animates pair of shutters closed on a storyline and then open again:



The shutters can move in four different angles, and can have a colour of your choice:



This plugin is implemented as a title effect. This means that if you make changes to the clips it is applied to, you might have to adjust the duration and timing of the title to make the transition work. This extra work is the price for extra timing flexibility and flexibility in the number of clips the transition can be applied to.

Hello Alex

Every time I drag the transition over into the time line its giving me an error screen which I cant seem to get rid of. Is there something Im doing wring?

If Final Cut Pro X crashes, there's a configuration problem I can't help you with.

If the viewer shows an error, then the version of Final Cut Pro X you are using isn't new enough for the plugin - but there's a workaround.
