Free Text Box title generator

A while ago I created a Text Box title generator.

The advantages over other titles is that you can set the dimensions of the text box and the contents will flow within it. You can align the text to the left, centre and right, and top, middle and bottom.

You can fill the box with a solid colour, gradients, change the brightness of or blur the background:

thanks for your sharing!

there seams to be a bug in fcpx 10.0.5 with this plugin.

when you change any value in the video tab, any content, except audio it seams) will be affected. e.g.: you wanna scale up your text box video, it will scale up the video beneath it.

other plugins don't do this, hence the bug report

Sadly I'm limited by the way Final Cut Pro X deals with title generators that use elements of the background video. In this case I want the background to blur sometimes.

If you scale, rotate or move a title using the Video tab of the inspector, all the video below it will have the same transform. The only way of making the box bigger and smaller without effecting the background is to change the position of the two control points.

When I revisit this title, I'll add scale and overall position controls to the Title tab.

alex,thanks for the clarification
