Hi guys, so i'm pretty new to final cut pro, I know the basics, and thats about it, haha. But I keep seeing text effects where the text moves or is anchored to a subject in the video, is there any free plug ins out there that can help me do this easily without having to manually change the text each time with numerous keyframes?

Nothing "free", but Motion has a tracker that does this. The TrackX plugin will do it inside of FCPX.
