Hello FCP.CO
I am straggling to find a very useful 'title' animation that was once used in iMovie software. In the new one and in Final Cut X I could not find it anymore. The title animation makes a discrete black line in the screenÁs lover part to have some more contrast between the title and the background. Here is a link to a clip containing the above 'title' from an early iMovie project: www.dropbox.com/s/0vjmvik4yju4xr7/title_example.mov Do you know where I could find this title and how to add it to FCPX? Any help greatly appreciated. Regards, Kris iMovie '11, FCPX 10.0.8, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2) |

I have one pretty much like this. A darkened band across the bottom to help the lower 3rd text stand out.
to download it. Comes with installation instructions.

Hello Ben,
Thanks. I have installed it and it works. If the clients want it to be automated (fade in and out) I will have to find something else. I will look on this forum, maybe there are some other downloads. Regards, Kris |

Sorted,
I have found the title I was looking for as it was there all the time. It's the 'echo'. I have found the 'echo' titles in both: iMovie and Final Cut. I couldn't find it so far as it's thumbnail and it's example on the slides is misleading. This title is adjustable in FCP but not in iMovie (font size and position). You only have to use the under titles, to make it work how I wanted it to be. Sorry for the confusion, Thanks for the support. Kris |
