The "pro" never left Logic Pro X. I've been producing professionally on it since before Apple bought it. It's only gotten better and better.

Yeah, you're certainly right about that. It was more matter of expression on my part.

Thought it was interesting to see the topic appear because I think sites like this could really benefit from a mutual exchange between video and sound.

I've seen how little many of the videos guys know about sound, not for the lack of effort though. For those who are reaching out and attempting to do their own music or audio-post, it's good to have places, like this in a familiar environment where they can exchange ideas or learn techniques. :)

I think the more people understand about other roles, the better they can capture and prepare their work too.

So when did first get into Logic??

When it was with eMagic, I think the company name was, and you needed a PhD in engineering to learn to use it. Many, many, many years ago. Now I teach it.

LOL... Yeah I remember those times. I got on about v4 or v5, when it was still magic too

Man that MIDI environment still exists, still occasionally finding myself there cleaning this up or doing MIDI work arounds

I've yet to get into programming my own MIDI plugins. It's on my todo, I just need to wrap some things up first :)
