Those Apple guys don't do anything casually, and if Craig Federighi used it for this demo it means something for the long term FcpX future.

Based on what history or evidence? They give a glimpse of FCP every WWDC keynote, and it has never meant anything.

The hot, burning wind continues to blow across the empty desert wasteland, acrid from roadkill...

that's exactly where your completely wrong, it's meaningful at that level.

The choice of FcpX for that particular demo by Craig Ferlighetti may not send the message that I like to receive myself ! "hello podcasters ! hello youtubers ! hello Uncle Henry ! " but I can decode it.

and certainly means FcpX is here to stay ! (besides)

if you can't decode all this (and more) , or can't anymore ... well I see that you are maintaining some video consulting activity to complement your retirement
(although your "demo" demonstrate yourself as your only client..)

well if you don't "read" that kind of things I suggest that you buy yourself a fishing rod

Good one crewman! Love it! But seriously, being able to copy from a finder window, and paste into the Browser pane, that would be nice to have.
