QNAP Ransomware Attack was created by nate.haustein
There’s a worldwide QNAP attack happening right now that locks your files with ransomware. If you’re running a QNAP, you should take immediate action.

I fell victim to this. Paid the ransom and am having issues getting my FCP libraries to work after unzipping the files. I had to go inside the library package contents and unzip "CurrentVersion.fcpevent" files. Now when I try to open a library there is nothing there. It shows how many things should be in that library but nothing is there. For example it says April 22, 2021 (14) and there's no clips and no projects.

From what I’ve read and seen, it seems to zip files within individual folders - causing havoc for a folder system like what FCPX uses. Are you able to open a backup of the library (that FCPX typically makes in your movies folder) and then relink the media?
My box got hit as well, but we caught it really early and it only got though a handful of folders. Luckily those were all backed up offsite.

I don't think I'm able to open or link a backup. Here is what my package contents look like after I unzipped everything individually in "FPV Vid" when I go to open this library it has the number of files in parenthesis up top by the date but there are no projects or clips visible as seen in the other screenshot.

Yikes. There seems to be something in the high quality media folder. Maybe you could use those files to reconstruct the edit using the backup. This really did a number on people. So sorry.
