All,
Good news- it looks like Neat Video will now run on Apple Silicon machines
Bad news - The Final Cut Pro plugin won't work yet ☹️

As a Mac user you might be thinking about upgrading to a new computer with the trendy M1 chip, or you could be one of the lucky ones who has already got such a machine. In order to truly benefit from the hardware upgrade, the software you use needs to be adapted for Apple Silicon as well.
We are pleased to announce native support for the new Apple Silicon CPUs in two of the Neat Video 5.4 plug-ins. They work about 30% faster than the Intel-based plug-ins executed via Rosetta on the same Apple Silicon hardware.
Two plug-ins have got ahead of the pack and now can be run on M1 computers natively:
Neat Video v5.4 plug-in for Resolve
Neat Video v5.4 plug-in for OFX hosts
Support for Apple Silicon in other Neat Video 5 plug-ins is in development. They are expected to get the ability to run on M1 Macs natively in the coming weeks and months. The timeframe will depend on the availability of the native M1 versions of the corresponding host applications and development tools.
We are hoping to add the same native support for Apple Silicon in our Neat Video plug-in for Final Cut very soon.
Software that does not yet utilize M1 natively and runs under Rosetta can also work with the new Neat Video.
All Neat Video 5 plug-ins include the Intel binary that can run under Rosetta as well as on traditional Intel-based Macs.
With this update you can also benefit from the expansion of supported GPUs that can speed up denoising. This time it is a trio of the latest AMD cards:
Radeon Pro W5500Radeon Pro W5500XRadeon Pro W5700
In addition, Neat Video has been made compatible with these newest versions of video editing applications:
DaVinci Resolve 17DaVinci Resolve Studio 17Fusion Studio 17DustBuster+ 13FXhome HitFilm Pro 16Adobe Premiere Elements 2021Media Composer 2021
