Had a sculptor bring in video she needed polishing. She did busts of musicians... Willie Nelson, Doc Watson, BB King... sculpting a cornucopia of genres as it were. Various clips of her seated in a chair looking off to camera right speaking to what I thought was someone feeding her questions. I mentioned she conducted the interview very well for someone unaccustomed to being on camera and quizzed her on who she was responding to. She came back with a response I wasn't prepared for. She was talking to a plant on a stool. She spoke her script and if unhappy with her performance she erased & reshot.

Sometimes a plant placed on a stool can be the answer.
