Is iMac 27 i5 (ME089 )with 16GB RAM good enough for HD editing with long projects(around 2,5 hour feature film shoot with C300)?

Yes, depending on what your external drive is. With a good Thunderbolt 2 RAID, using optimized media (or proxy) you should have good performance.
