Drive X from Coremelt 25 Jun 2015 13:41 #65877
UPDATE:
Since it has officially been announced, here's the demo video. Basically, Drive X lets you take tracking data, just like you generate with SliceX and TrackX, and apply it to "drive" other parameters. It is still in development and will be released in the Fall of 2015. www.facebook.com/coremeltfx/videos/996342903710210/ |

wild guessing ... :
TrackX ... uhm, tracks points/planes in a video. SliceX utilizes parts='slices' of a video DriveX - and its logo - brings up to me: a stitcher, like the panorama feature for stills. Take a handful of shots, and travel around it. Software identifies 'connections', 'blends it' together, regarding perspectives! … handy for example for CGI set-extensions. … points, parts, frames ... logically development.... |

In a private email I made guesses, was told I was very, very close to what it was, but still can't be told anything. And promised to keep my guesses to myself. I'd say not, Karsten. But who knows, I'm just guessing like everyone else.
I noticed the 3 broadcast colors (red, blue, green) used for grading, three color curves (the lines), and some thoughts about new products Mr. Bolton spoke about while I worked for him at NAB. So, even with the "inside" information I had, I'm still not on target, but close. Something to do with color grading, or particles, or curves, or maybe even a node based workflow, or maybe a generator of some sort, or something to do with tracking, layers, colors, lines, driving me insane. "Drive" X, so something with tracking, and something about "drive". Hard drive, driving Ms. Daisy, Minnie Driver, cruise control, countryside drive, Hollywood Drive, peripheral drivers, drive me freakin' insane... I'm not good at waiting. But I have a good idea of what we'll hear, I think, but not sure. Holding my breath now... What the hell does "Drive" mean? |

same here, doesn't play in Safari nor Chrome. But… Wait until it is fully downloaded, right-click, 'Save as Quicktime Movie', then it works... |
