TOPIC:

This effect is used to animate a clip across it's duration on the timeline.



Once you apply it, you can choose the start and end position, rotation and scale and choose what kind of animation curve is used to change each parameter.

As well as the default Final Cut Pro X animation technique of Constant change you can choose to Ease Both in and out of the animation. This makes animation look more natural as objects in the real world slowly usually speed up from being still and eventually slow down before they stop.
