It's a REALLY cool effect. I like it a lot!
![]() But I do notice one thing though. I find out once I apply this effect to the clip I can't delete it. Usually a delete key works with all effects but not this one. Is it just me? |

I should have said it a little clearer. When I say I can't delete the effect is when I try to do this in the inspector.
I can delete the effect when expand the video animation in the timeline, but not in the inspector window. |

Okay, I got it to download, but when I try to put the effect on my video, the clip comes up as blue. When I delete the effect the clip is fine...anybody know why the blue happens as it does?

Used the effect today and it ran well. It is a very 'painterly' effect, i like it a lot. In the movies>motion templates>effects i createdd an F Woods folder and put freds work in there, it shows up in the fpcx effects list clearly

Effects are not backwards compatible from what I have experienced. If you are not using the latest version of FCP X and the effects were built in the newest version of Motion they will not be compatible.

To remove an effect from the inspector, click on the effect to highlight it and press delete. Creating history....one edit at a time !

Yes, it is a pretty cool effect. I looked at the effect .moef files and folders to see if they were locked, which may prevent the deletion from the inspector. They were not, so I suspect there must be something in the effect structure that fcpx see's and won't allow it's deletion. Still a puzzle.

Is there a different link to the effect?
If not and it was the "V2" version it unfortunately didn't work for me... |
