I am considering purchasing the Motype title animation plugin by Yanobox because from viewing the demo, it offers quite of bit of variety. But before I do, I wanted to see if any of you currently use it and what your thoughts are on it. Also, if you know of any other plugins that offer animated titling effects, please feel free to share the names of them. Thanks!

I've played with it but haven't bought it. You can test it out through FxFactory. It's fully functional but has a watermark. If you dig it enough, just buy to remove the watermark.

Yes, try the demo in FXFactory. I haven't used it much yet, but do really like it. Things I didn't really know before buying it:

1. Its real purpose is titles, not text blocks, as it only allows one line of text per instance. I've gotten around that though by layering multiple titles and deleting the backgrounds, etc. as needed.

2. I didn't realize the titles were so customizable. You can add/delete backgrounds, flares, fly-in nature and color, etc. You can also use the text transparently over footage or stills.

I just find it so easy and so polished. At $99, you'll have to decide if you'd use it enough to justify. I got it on sale in December for 50% off - it was a no-brainer at that price.

I've been playing with the demo some time ago and I thought it was really cool. But then I saw it was kinda limited. I didn't buy it at the end.
