Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5: “Send Email” alert when using Share > Email was created by peteramwiggins
All,
Apple have issued a Knowledge Base article about emailing from the share menu
Symptoms
When you choose Email from the Share menu In Final Cut Pro X or Motion 5, you may see an alert that says “Send Email.”
Products Affected
Compressor 4, Motion 5, Final Cut Pro X
Resolution
To successfully use Share > Email and prevent this alert from appearing, be sure that OS X Mail is open and that the email account you want to use is configured prior to choosing Share > Email.

they should implement using the mailserver built into osx rather than the mail software
