Cold temperature exhale...

Does anyone know how to create the illusion of cold temperature by making steam when an actor exhales?

Im getting ready to shoot a ghost video and was curious about some sort of fx for FCPX.

I appreciate any feedback.

you can probably find some downloads by googling for it. But you can also try and use the Smoke generator in Motion and try to mess around with keyframing it. Or you can try and make it yourself! Get a dark room and find a way to make smoke or even get it really cold in a room. use a light to shine up from the bottom so the video is completely dark except for the smoke that lights up from the light below. then luma key it in post and there ya go!

Or mock up some smoke in Motion and composite that.
