Hi,

Motion VFX mSpy has a 'thermal vision' look - that you can apply to clips...

You can quickly create that effect with "gradient colorize" in motion. You will just need to tweak the gradient to your liking. Here is an effect to get you started: (put this in ~/Movies/Motion Templates/Effects)

File Name: GradientColorize.zip

By the way I've never seen the movie, but google turned this up:

hmm, you missed something ... in the late 80ies ;)
I remember well, had to waste some time with a friend, cinema, Schwarzenegger? boom, boom, why not (=that was WAY beyond fora, internet, rottontomatoe etc!) ... we expected the 'usual stuff' of action-movie, big men, big guns... and were 'shocked' when the two genres, action and SciFi mingled!

... lots of boom (=since then I know what a Gattling is - so silly, handheld here :silly: ), but an invisible alien either - grrreat new genre! :woohoo:

silly trivia:
green-screening in the jungle?
for some color-key effects they had to use pink bg ...

Thanks for the plugin, I can use it in some different project!

yeah, looks like you described it pretty well. ;)

It is impressive they were able to pull of the invisible guy/alien/etc. without digital tools.
