OK, so here's the deal:
The footage I'm editing was recorded with the AC on in the background. Fixing that was easy using the Background Noise Removal option. However, the enhancement doesn't want to apply to the beginning of the clips. Each clip starts off with the AC sound and then the enhancement slowly fades it out.
At this point, it would be better to leave the AC sound in the mix than to have it abruptly hum every time I cut to a new clip.
Does anyone know how to get the enhancement to apply to the entire clip?
Thanks for any help!

Hi there,
I don't have this problem. Did you maybe apply a compressor as well? This will make the quiet parts of your sound louder and might cause the problem you describe when there's no dialog in the audio at certain moments?
What might help you is turning your edited clips into a compound clip and then apply the noise removal to that compound clip instead of applying it to each clip separately.
Good luck!

Thanks, Overturf!
I didn't apply a compressor to the audio so that wasn't an issue.
On the other hand, grouping the clips together like you suggested was definitely a help! The AC sound is now only at the beginning of each compound clip rather than each individual one. Still hoping to figure out how to get the the audio enhancement to apply to the beginning of my clips.
Anyway, thanks again!
