I wonder if there is a possibility to show up a histrogram in Apple Motion.

The "Levels" filter has a drop down menu called "histogram" but it does not show histogram scope...

From the user manual;
"Histogram: Displays an analysis of the layer. By default, the RGB channels are selected. A pop-up menu can be used to select Red, Green, Blue, or Alpha channels for viewing."

Oh, I see. I applied the filter to the group... this is why the histogram didn't show up. Thanks a lot!

It should show up the same way on a group just fine..

Can you provide a screen shot?
What macOS version, what Motion version?

Try holding both Option and Command keys together while launching Motion in order to delete preferences. See if that helps.
