How to Create Text input fields for FCP Title Template was created by Suzero
I am creating a title template in Motion for use in FCPX.
It has 2 lines of text. The upper is the Name, the lower is the person's Function.
I have created 2 layers, one for each line of text as the sizes are different (Name and Function).
However, if I double click these in FCPX, the upper title overlaps the lower title so it's impossible to double click the lower title for editing. This is for a non-tech savvy client to use so I need it to work as simply as possible.
Is there a way to create 2 text input fields in the Inspector so my client can simply type the Name in one and the Function in the other, keeping them separate?

Hi Suzero ! The simplest thing is to publish in Motion the two text boxes (in the ispector: Text> Format> text), so in FCPX, in the published parameters you can write the new text
