Have mask go in reverse direction

One title I created I have a vertical line that moves from the center of the screen to the left with a mask. The line is using the Align To behavior so that both move together exposing the text under the mask. Now I am wanting to create another title where the line moves to the left but the mask moves to the right exposing the text from the left side. Obviously I can't use the Align To behavior to achieve the effect I am wanting. I tried using the Reverse behavior but I did not get the results I was looking for. Any hints on how to achieve the effect I am looking for?

instead of the Align-To behaviour; which can cause performance issues when too much nested, I would simply LINK the x-position of Line with Mask (or vice versa, whatever is the 'Master')

To invert both movements, set the Scale of the Link to -1 (minus one) - line to the left => mask to the right…

by 'rigging' that Scale parameter, you could easily make the action optional/switchable, with a nice pop-up-menu 'Left/Right' or whatever…

Thank you Karsten, I knew you would have a solution. I will try out your suggestions next week. Late yesterday I made the title using the Throw behavior to throw the vertical line one direction and the mask the other direction. 90% of my video is shot on green screen to be used in educational courses for online. When I am recording the professor talking there is a PowerPoint they use with their talk. Since PowerPoints are so ugly I just recreate the PowerPoint as a series of titles that are off to the left of the talent . So that the videos are not visually boring I try to create unique titles for each series. I am able to design titles better them I am able to implement in Motion. I seem to always have a learning curve to overcome. Between you and the Ripple guys I am starting to get the hang of Motion. Once again thank you.
