Hey everybody -
I need some help; what would be the best way to have some shapes (simple circles) collide and bounce off of each other? I'm messing with having an emitter just emit one image, and trying to get it to collide with another. Trying Repel From, Attracted To, Drag, but not getting the result I'd like.
Pretty easy in Maya, but a head scratcher here in Motion.
Any suggestions?
Thank you so much

btmk, Motion doesn't offer (yet) a collide detection behaviour.
To create a 'vibrating flock' of circles, have you considered some 'wiggle' on x/y?

Actually, being very careful with the Influence level of the Repel From behavior, you can get the effect. May not be perfect, with with some work, it could be good. For a single image that doesn't repeat, use the Throw behavior instead of an emitter, maybe?

Here's the project file that I'm using.

Hi Karsten - thanks so much for replying. I had not considered that.
FCPX.guru - thank you so much! talk about going over and above
Super cool. Thats in the ballpark of what I was going for. I actually ended up doing it in Maya, since I new I could use rigid bodies / collisions and forces.
There's also Newton 2 for After Effects that could do that too, but that's $250.
Thank you both for your replies
