Me and my company are going to make a lot of videos, we need a lower thirds for every single video. We have editors on Final Cut and on premiere. How will we go about a lower thirds in which we can change the text! From my understanding if it is made in motion 5 I can change text in Final Cut but what about the premiere users? I guess we could have someone make it in motion and then have someone replicate it in after effects? I need a professional that can make me a professional lower thirds just like this video

Welcome, Evan, to fcp.co :)

I'm afraid, you'll get here the almost same answers as in your double-pst at ASC , although now your example is a bit different: no 3D components.

As far as. I see, these are - excellent composed! but - simple 'grew'n shrink' animations, easy to accomplish in Motion, and shouldn't be no magic in After Effects; and, both apps allow to 'publish' editable content, in Motion its plugins and the Inspector in FCPX, in AE its a 'composition' where 'Templates (unlocked Text Layers' is set, which allows to apply the Lower3rd and edit the text inside it in AP ...

You should look in your local Yellow Pages/Craig's List/Crew United/et al for a Motion Graphic Designer offering his service for both platforms.

As mentioned, in THIS Example, I don't see any app-specific elements, that can only be done in this or that app ..

Your designer has to be very precise with colors, fonts, dimensions etc, to make graphics from both worlds fit in one product.

Here's my answer from the same post that appeared at Apple's FCPX forum: (corrections mine)

yOur group needs to make some serious decisions. Trying to collaborate across editing systems, and possibly between PC and Macintosh, is possible but it's also a perfect formula for a totally avoidable disaster.
Creating totally interchangeable templates, however, is almost impossible. Motion is not an option unless your Adobe people are on Macs. Then they simply invest $50 (chump change) and you can easily swap your template files. But if they are PC, your Mac people must invest in After Effects, which is very expensive, in order to freely exchange animated title templates. AE files will not simply drop into FCPX. You will render the movies out of AE.
If your titles do not need to animate, all you need to do is get everyone to agree on a look and feel, design and build the graphics elements and pieces, and have those elements available to everyone on the editing crew. You can create your supers as animated backgrounds by making the movies (with alpha) available to all as long as everyone agrees to use the same typefaces &c. This is not easy, everyone wants to be creative.

Strongly urge you to get everyone working with the exact same version of your crucial applications and get everyone on the same computing platform. If you cannot or will not do that, you must work within the constraints of this decision. You move to the lowest common denominator for file exchange, and limit your collaborative interactions. That will put constraints on everyone and no one will be happy, unless, of course, everyone understands their roles and responsibilities. You can get everyone to insert slugs where their supers are intended to go and have one individual in the staff be assigned to using the standardized models.
