"Bending" images in Motion 5?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a way to "bend" images or groups.
I've used the text-to-curve feature in the past, but it only works for text as far as I know.

For example, a cartoon car accelerating. The top of the car should lag behind the wheels. I'm aware of the shear feature, but it isn't bendy enough for great animation.

Does anyone know how to get behavior like a "Lattice" in Motion 5?

one of the many mysteries of Motion - 'Distortions'
you get all kind of nonsense and inanities (disk warp, black hole, polar?? any seen in use in the wild???) … but e.g. a simple cylindrical bend = label around a bootle? nope. nada. zil.

Have you tried to distort groups? like:

Hey guys.
Useful warping tools have been my biggest request for YEARS!

Motion so desperatley needs a good bezier and mesh warp.

I have been a Fire/Smoke operator for longer than I'd like to say, and that's the feature in Smoke that I use ALL THE TIME!

It's perfect for subtle animation on still sky photos, to make adjustments to composition, and on and on.

Please, everyone... fill out a request submission and help get this to the top of Apple's list!
