Wanting to know if this is possible to do in Motion

Creating a callout I have been able to have the diagonal line rotate around the callout point using the Align To behavior. Now I would like to be able to have the horizontal line that touches the diagonal line stay horizontal within a range of rotation of the diagonal. In other words I want a "hinge" at the junction of the two lines. Is there a way to do this in Motion and then be able to Publish that so the function would work in FCPX?

Not sure if this will help answer your question or not, but I have a series of different callouts I created using heavily the Align to behaviour.

I understand most of the German but I am having a hard time figuring what effect is Wölbung. I believe it mean curved part but not sure which effect it is in English. I have forgotten most of my high school German classes.

haha, that plugin is one of my oldest - that time, I didn't care for readability … sorry!

Wölbung = Bulge
the effect isn't needed, just its OnScreenControler.
