Dear Motion-Wizzards

I've built a FCPX-Title in Motion containing three Text-Boxes. I added a self-adjusting Text-Background using the method demoed in this MacBreak Studio Episode:

Mr. Gollner says the only way to have a Text-Background that automatically adjusts to the Text length is by adding the Border-Effect in Motion.
My problem with that method is that the height of the Text-Background changes depending on which letters you use.
Is there a way to make a self-adjusting Text-Background in Motion that has a fixed height?

Any tipps appreciated!

Edit: I've added a Screenshot so you can see what exactly I mean...

check out MacBreak Studio Episode #386. Mark Spencer uses the new "Align To" Behavior in combination with the link behavior to accomplish the text with background trick. I think that's what your talking about.

… that's true … then.
Advice is meanwhile obsolete, replaced by linking the width or x-scale of a rectangle to the width of the text:

When Alex gave that advice, this feature wasn't avail in Motion.

oops, overseen Marco's reply!
