Object.Text - Calling on the linking experts !

Hi everyone,

Building some dynamic titling templates that ideally would have some parameters linked to make life easier (mask position according to length of text, etc... and I stumbled upon one parameter that I can't find any info about nor use in any way.

If you make a text layer the source of your link there is an Obect.Text parameter that could be used to control another layer's parameter. Anybody ever used this in the real world, and if so, how and what does it do ?

none from your list of experts, but used the Object parameter for example for 'cloning' text input, have a look:





When I publish the text-well of TEXT1, anything I type in there will be copied to 'zwo', which has a diff. font, colour, position etc, using the Object/Text parameter.
