Default colours in Motion

Does anybody know how to change the default colour for shapes and lines In Motion 5?
I Have Motion on 2 different machines and the default colour is different on both so I'm assuming you can change it.
It drives me crazy having to change the colour each time I draw a shape or add a line.

I believe it's just a sticky selection. Whatever the last color you drew the shape with is the color it'll remain.

i.e.:
1. click the add shape button
2 in the shape's Tool HUD, choose a color
3. draw your shape

That will be the color of all shapes drawn until you change it in the shape's Tool HUD again.

Ah the HUD! I had heard it would stay the same but I have been using the inspector to change the colour.
