Cutting a text in Motion 5

Do you know another way of cutting a text using Motion 5 apart from this one?

nicely done tutiorial, just to mention it ... good find!

another way would ask for a paint app, such as Pixelmator:
there you can transform text into pixel, slice it into parts on diff. layers and animate the resulting psd in M5....

but asks for preperation for each new word or any other changes.
The method in the tutorial seems at first a bit complicated, but is the most flexible one ...incl. changing the split ....

Probably the oldest request for Motion, the ability to change a Text Layer into a Vector Graphic Layer (or to pixels).
