Animate a map in Motion 5

The one simplification I would make to this is not to duplicate the car/motion behaviors to get it to follow the path. I'd use the motion path behavior to do the car, it is another bezier path, like the line stroke for the dotted lines. Just like any other path in Motion, if you option-click between two anchor points, you can add a new point. Then you would just set the length of the behavior to match the write-on for the dot segments. Finish it off with an align to Motion behavior on the car and you'e done the same thing with 2 layers and 3 behaviors.

I published this trick many years ago in VideoMaker magazine, and again a few years ago at the macProVideo.com/hub site of tutorials. The video you have there makes is WAY overly complicated!
Apply the "Motion Path" behavior to the car, set "Path Shape" to "Geometry", then drag-and-drop the Bezier layer into the source well. Be sure to check the box for "Attach To Shape". You can also adjust speed and such with that behavior.
Then add a "Snap Alignment To Motion" behavior on the car, also. Set "Rotation Axis" to "Z" and you're done!
Screw keyframes, they're such a PITA.
