move position of WHOLE animation was created by Schwalbach
Hello,
I have created my first lower third for a particular FCPX project I am working on.
The problem is that, the canvas was zoomed in and my lower third ends up in the middle of the screen once opened in FCPX.
I when back to motion to re-ajust the size and position of the lower third, but there is a problem:
when I move the objects to the new position (bottom/left conner) it changes the way they move because there are lots of key frames in the sequence. So, instead of the objects moving within the lower third area, the start moving from the old position to the new position and then moving correctly within the lower third.
How can I move everything to the new position with changing the path of the objects? Am I making sense?
Thanks

Without seeing your project, I have two suggestions. the real wonks should have better information for you shortly.
Reserve two or three copies of the project and give them names like v02, v03, v04. Experiment on the new versions and preserve the original.
You can add a camera to the project and adjust the camera's view so the objects are where you want them to be.
You can group all of your items together and move or scale the group.
You could also just consider you learned something valuable and start from scratch. I do this often, throw out the whole thing and start fresh. Hope you figure it out and try to have fun.
